Recently, the 34th CCF CSP Certification (China Computer Federation Computer Software Capability Certification) was successfully held at 98 nationwide certification centres, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) secured the top spot in the CSP TOP30 university rankings.

HUST had 35 students score over 300 points, including standout performances from students like Pan Zhe, Long Yuezhang, Wu Jiali, Liu Xin, Liu Zhenghang, and Ni Yidong, all of whom scored above 400.
The CCF CSP Certification was first established by the China Computer Federation (CCF) in 2014, and there are now 199 authorized CSP certification centers nationwide. To date, 225,104 individuals have participated in the certification. The CCF aims to evaluate students' programming abilities, providing a platform for talent selection for universities and enterprises. It has gained recognition from many prestigious universities and renowned companies, becoming a key reference for admissions and recruitment.
In recent years, the School of Computer Science and Technology at HUST has placed significant emphasis on developing students'programming skills, continuously optimizing its talent cultivation program. During the winter and summer breaks of their first and second years, students are required to complete 150 challenging online programming tasks. The CCF CSP certification is a mandatory extracurricular credit requirement, and the School organizes four CSP certification exams annually to ensure continuous programming skill development throughout the four years of study. This commitment has yielded impressive results, with HUST consistently having the highest number of participants in the CSP certification exams among all universities in China. In recent years, nearly 10 HUST students have achieved the perfect score of 500 points in the CCF CSP Certification.
