Bicycles are the choice for a significant amount of students on campus.

2) Off Campus

There are many ways for public transportation in Wuhan, including buses, taxi, metro, and light rail. Up to 2010, 7,000 buses covered an average distance of 19.9 kilometers and among them, 114 lines covered a stretch over 20 kilometers. Recent years have witnessed the fast development of the metro system. There are 3 metro lines in operation so far which have connected 75 stations in total.
