Personal Profile

Dr Tu Gang, associate Professor, Master Supervisor, graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2004 with a Ph.D. degree. His main research directions include artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, UAV image analysis, natural language processing, etc. He has presided over key and major projects such as the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863 Program), the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Information Security Special Project of the National Development and Reform Commission, the Information Industry Development Project of Hubei Province, the Science and Technology Innovation Project of the Ministry of Culture, and the Optoelectronics Special Project of Hubei Province. He has won Hubei Science and Technology Progress Award (third prize), State Administration of Radio, Film and Television Science and Technology Innovation Award (second prize), third prize for scientific and technological progress of Wuhan etc. He is the funding target of Wuhan Youth Science and Technology Chenguang Program; He has published nearly 20 papers in domestic and international high-level academic conferences and journals; He is currently the deputy director of the Institute of Data Engineering of the School of Computer Science and Technology, and is in charge of scientific research.
