Research Interests: Research interests mainly include Large-scale storage system, Storage virtualization technology, Disk array, and Performance evaluation and simulation.Recent work focuses on Hybrid storage system, Cloud storage service and security and Big data.

Dr. Jianxi Chen received his B.S. degree from Nanjing University in 1999 and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, in 2002 and 2006 respectively. He was a research scientist in Data Storage Institute (DSI), A*STAR, Singapore during 2012-2013. He has over 20 publications in major journals and conferences including ACM Transactions on Storage (ToS), FAST, MSST, IPDPS, MASCOTS and CLUSTER, etc. He is a member of CCF, IEEE.​
